Access instructions emailed by the host before I arrived, The accommodation is clearly recently renovated and very stylish and comfortable, well equipped, superb shower, all spotlessly clean and ideal for my 2 day stay.

The apartment has a good location, in the centre, with free parking in the church square outside. The entrance is up some stone steps to the right of the bar.
Visitors should be aware there are lots of steps in the apartment, quite narrow and steep... Not a problem for us, but worth knowing.
We had a good meal at Le passe muraille. Shopping was possible at the local town shops or a large supermarket on the outskirts.

This is a very big apartment in the very centre of attractive Bessines sur Gartemps. There's a clear effort to please, it's nicely furnished with some high spec stuff, and it all feels very new. The bar is across the square and on Wednesday (I'm not promising every week!) there was a pizza wagon in the square as well. Street parking was no problem.
