We stayed in the bottom floor portion of the owner's home, which featured three bedrooms, one separate toilet, and a separate shower/sink. The kitchen is large and well-equipped and opens into the living room. The property provides parking and is located on the outskirts of the nearby city, but in a very rural and quiet area, across the street from where they prepare hot air balloons. We stayed there for purposes of visiting the Verdon Gorge and lavender fields, which were about 30mins to an hour away, though there were fields much closer (including sunflower fields within a few minutes drive). The beds were very comfy and the property was clean, including the bathroom.

The apartment was very clean and newly renovated with high-end finishes through-out. Nicely decorated too! There was a large living room area (to relax and lounge) and a spacious kitchen and dining room. Nice toiletries were provided. 2 queen beds were on the second level with a third bed on a loft. Tom was a super nice host and very helpful. He gave us a great recommendation to a local restaurant the only night we were there. We were there to visit the lavender fields in Valensole which was about 25 minutes away by car. There was also a cool, outdoor garden that we would have loved to hang out in if we had more time.

A lovely holiday home with everything you need provided. Should you want to cook there is a good selection of cookware for any conceivable dish.. A good size lounge complete with TV .The bedrooms are comfortable- each with its own ensuite.The house/apartment is in an excellent location in the old quarter of the town. It was quiet yet not too far away from shops and restaurants.
The apartment is in its own compound so easy to find and safe for motorcycles. Own kitchen so easy to do you own meals if necessary.
Host were very welcoming and even provided us with a pain patch as one of the group had hurt their ankle.

Location is perfect, close enough to the center of Forcalquier but quiet and private. The hosts were absolutely wonderful - would come back to Forcalquier again just for them! The apartment is spacious, facilities more than adequate... everything wonderful, really.

Lovely studio with a vine-strewn balcony overlooking an old courtyard, at the back of an art gallery. Friendly and interesting host and despite its central location, very quiet at night. Good hiking to the Mourres without the need to drive.
