We weren't concerned about the hotel's appearance since we only needed a place near the airport to stay after arriving on a late-night flight with our child. Driving another hour to our resort felt too stressful, especially after a frustrating flight with delays. However, based on what we saw, the room wasn't worth the cost

Location was good. Tanoa Apartment is located on a hill. Our apartment, when looking out the windows, we could see the sun rising early in the morning in between the mountains in the background it was beautiful. There's a free airport shuttle which is very convenient. The restaurant for Tanoa Apartments is a short drive and located at Tanoa International Hotel which was nice to try out. Loved how clean the restaurant at Tanoa International Hotel was. Food was a little pricey at the restaurant but the customer service provided by the workers especially a gentlemen named Filipo (i think that was his name) was excellent and made us feel like we were right at home. We arrived at the restaurant when it was not busy so was good to listen to the men playing musical instruments in the background near the pool it reminded us of how my culture.
For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Great place to relax and revitalize when you're in need of a break from the rest of the busy tourist areas. Like living in a villa, great food, friendly staff and enjoyable time easy to order a taxi but would recommend a rental good place to sleep at night if your planning on traveling around during the day.
Very welcoming and friendly hostess. Two guard-dogs you easily make friends with. Nice quiet area out in the countryside. This means you need a car. But the landlady is very helpful also with organizing a car rental.
I would highly recommend Chand's Apartment. Travelled to Fiji for a family matter, it was only 5 minutes from our family house. Very tidy and clean, lovely quite area. Was able to have a quite rest every day as no space at the family house to have a quite break. And good value for money. With very hot weather the fan came in handy and all the cooking appliances i needed to use even though I rarely used them.
We loved our stay at Chands apartment. Great hospitality, clean, good facilities, and very convenient layout of the place. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with a small grocery store opposite the place.
