A very cute and tastefully decorated little house with everything you need and more. A place where you could live for a long time without missing anything. There were all kinds of toys for the children. Very quiet. We stayed there on a Monday night in the summer and were the only visitors. I would like to come back here to ski in the winter, it seems to be especially nice here!

The best place to enjoy the architecture designed by alvar aalto. Also, a good place to enjoy aalto's furniture. The owner was really kind and even came over to open the door for us to visit, even though the town hall was closed on the weekend.

We did not have time to explore the surroundings, but the place looks quiet and surrounded by nature.
Located on top of Riihivuori and having the down hill skiing resort (office, rental, restaurant) just few "pushes" away, no transportation needed. Excellent view to the lake, Log house is built with "genuine Lapland" style, the southern (palju) end of the house has small terrace and is without close neighbors. Separate sauna wing with fireplace. Lot of rooms and toilets, and plenty of kitchenware.
