The apartment is very close to nature, just a five minutes walk and you're away from light pollution and can see the stars, look for auroras...it was the first time we could walk on a frozen lake (very close to the apartment)!
It is cosy, clean, well-equipped and warm.
Petteri is a very kind host, very responsive and extremely helpful.
We also enjoyed some of the activities he offers such as lappish dinner (he was so kind to adapt it to our specific diets) and he booked us a tour with dogs. There is also a swimming pool with sauna about 5 minutes walk away and it only costs 3€ (check website for opening hours).

We were only there for one night and with a delayed flight basically only got to sleep. The beds and linens were very clean and nice. The location was great for us as we were on transit.

Everything. First of all, it's a perfect location. We were greeted by a reindeer and witnessed northern lights at the start of September right in front of our apartment. One cannot wish for a better parting gift.
The house is comfy and clean, the view is great, there's a chilling porch outside, and a national park is 100 m away, you can climb the hill and witness the beauty of Saariselka. Other national parks, Ivalo and Inari are a 20 min drive away, so this is a perfect northern Lapland base. Ilkka explained everything and was a perfect host.
This was the best vacation we ever had.

Everything you need for a long or short stay. AC was a really comfortable feature in this heat. The chalet had 2 bedroom, sauna and a big kitchen. It's a private beach on Holiday Village and we charged our car for free, we will recommend this camping to everyone.
So clean apartments! In kitchen we found all tools we needed to make breakfasts. And also important that its very quiet place, didnt heard any cars or people around, recommend 100%!
We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a private sauna and absolutely could not have been happier. The sauna was easy to work, the hotel was in the center of Ivalo and very close to everything (this matters when it is -25...), and the staff were great. What's not to love? We will certainly return.

Petteri was an amazing host and ensured that we had everything we needed. He was sure to update us all the time about the auroras and where would be best to see them (as we had hired a car). Petteri helped booked our excursions and was an amazing host. The location is perfect and driving was perfectly fine (mid Jan). The apartment had everything and was nice and warm.
Hotel provides waterproof suits during your stay. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The staffs in the reception are very kind and friendly. The location is near a river where can see the north light.
Incredibly spacious for 2 people. Location is very convenient since it is right across S-Market, the biggest supermarket in Ivalo. The apartment feels very homey as well and has all the amenities that you would need.
