A really large apartment in a small residential apartment building with parking in a public carpark right outside ( if you time it right) and it's free.
A 5 minute walk to the centre of Santa Cruz.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Great kitchen - everything you need, even the hover in the microwave to keep it clean from splashes of heated food, washing machine, dishwasher, well equipped bathroom, great view, warm rooms, great view from the windows, smooth check-in and check-out.
The furniture was comfortable, Wi-Fi worked well, so I would even choose this apartment for a longer stay. There are nice restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the beach is literally across the street.
Just a warning (I cannot mention it as a negative point because for me it was fine) - there are stairs to the apartment and in the apartment itself (from the living room to the bathroom and bedroom level), so after hiking it was a challenge to go upstairs\downstairs. On the other side it was a great way to check if we were tired enough from hiking in the mountains :)

Amazing view from the pool and terrace; quiet; well-equipped kitchen; great wifi; Paulina is a very attentive and responsive the host. We found fruits and a nice bottle of wine in our apartment, and she brought us fresh eggs for breakfast for our birthday! We also loved the birds! The house/apartment was exceptionally cool and spacious. Very secure parking and building. In hind site probably the best location on the Island.
