The apartamentos are in a former village school, situated in a small hamlet in a lovely river valley with gorgeous views towards the Picos de Europa. The hamlet has a traditional restaurant but no other facilities. However, nearby Unquera has lots of shops and several supermarkets. We stayed in the top floor flat, which is small, but very well kept and clean. The kitchen is simple, but worked well for us. Angeles, the owner, was fantastically helpful and kind and provided us with a super helpful guide to local sites, beaches, and walks of which there are many.

We had a hard time making ourselves leave this place! It was a great little oasis while walking the Camino del Norte. Our unit was a new, beautiful and spacious studio apartment with a little kitchenette, it was quiet, there was a lively bar/restaurant just a few minutes walk away, the bed was really comfortable, and Maria (the host) was super nice. We highly recommend it.

owners were very helpful and welcoming. apartment clean and nicely decorated and kitchen tools provided. appreciated the washer and clothesline for laundry. sunny garden so clothes dried quickly
