A really nice homely apartment, unlike some rental apartments, which are sparce and cold, El Rinconcito was furnished with a lot of thought and care, which made it feel very welcoming. Sonia was very helpful, and the complex was clean and quiet. We arrived a bit early in the season, so the whole area had not come to life yet, but what we did see looked nice. Not your rowdy beach front venues.

Wonderful location less than 5 minutes to nice , safe beach. Very nice , good sized pool on the grounds which was not busy. Good sized balcony which was very comfortable to sit out on particularly for breakfast as the sun was not prominent until after 2pm. Very quiet at night, comfortable beds. Small apartment ideal for 2 people- no sea views but nice mountain views from balcony. Very friendly neighbours and a wonderful host Juan , a thorough gentleman. 10 - 15 minutes walk to the port area with lots of restaurants and bars, shops etc. Wonderful air conditioning in apartment.

We booked this last minute and the host Juan was extremely accommodating. He came and met us to show us around and the apartment.
The apartment is very stylish and modern to a high spec with everything we needed.

Sonia was very helpful, and the complex was clean and quiet. We arrived a bit early in the season, so the whole area had not come to life yet, but what we did see looked nice. Not your rowdy beach front venues.
Nothing. Apartment was not clean, we had to buy cleaning materials and spent a day making it liveable. Some appliances were not working, others not available. Exterior was covered in red dust and had to hose it down and clean furniture. Wardrobes, cupboards and drawers were full of owner's stuff so no place for our clothes etc. Beds were not made and had to sort through pile of linen and towels to find ones that fit etc. BBQ was filthy and not fit to be used. Please see the photos to see the state of the apt and a list of all the problems.
The apartment was quiet, comfortable and the air conditioning was good. Great location, easily within walking distance and/or a short drive from many places; including bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, beaches, historic sites, etc. Friendly neighbours and easy free parking outside the building.
Lovely, relaxing atmosphere in La Azohia.
Location was perfect for us and the views fabulous. The apartment was nicely decorated and we felt very comfortable there. The balcony is nicely shaded in the mornings and if you wanted sun then the terrace upstairs is perfect. Good location for hiking with mountains behind property and promenade alongside the beach which stretches for miles.
The design and interior of the flat, the nice garden (with sun in the late morning) (were there in winter), the view from kitchen and dining room, the short distance to the see, the fully equiped kitchen, . . .
