Nothing. The Penthouse apartment I had booked for a first time Christmas holiday in Spain as a present for my wife was refused us on arrival for reasons that were uncertain. After deliberation and a phone call to the owner we were offered another apartment and a discounted rate . However after a brief trip for a meal we discovered all the hot taps in the place disgorged dirty and yellowed water. This was not rectified next day so after telling the guy on reception that this amounted to a serious health hazard and after his assurance that the local maintenance man had said it wasn't toxic after putting some tablets in ????? we left for another location and expected a full refund, which so far we have not received. Terrible and upsetting experience on a visit which was supposed to be a very special Christmas treat.

The best aspect of the property is its host. Xavi is remarkably responsive and attentive to guests' needs. Communication with him both prior to and during our stay was excellent. On the day of our checkout, we were even allowed to stay until 6 pm (which we didn't request). The property is well located in central Alicante. The seaside promenade is a two minutes walk away, and there are about 10 minutes to Postiguet beach, the city's main beach. There are also so many restaurant and shopping options near the property. The property had a fully equipped kitchen and there were other facilities that you would expect in an apartment - iron, washing machine, etc. Fully recommended.

It's one of the best hosts and apartments! Helps us with everything we need, very nice, cozy, enough space in the apartment and around. There is a nice backyard with sunbeds and a sitting place where you can spend time and relax! Special thanks for water, ice cream and other good things which I found inside and was very happy, because I didn't have the possibility to buy before the check-in.
The place around is quiet, with a lot of trees and golf fields.
Paula was great, only stayed for one night and I had a really great stay. The room was super clean and had everything I needed. Paula let me cook and even let me try some of her soup which was really nice. Overall can’t complain — ahh also managed to find parking outside the apartment so all in all I’m very happy.
