Great homemade food: I had delicious breakfasts and dinner. This is a family house and well connected within the island itself and beyond. The house itself is simple with lovely Nubian art work. The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom work well. The host is very keen to show you the island and beyond and is very knowledgeable. You need to negotiate the price. All in all great value and authentic Nubian living.

It is a cute house in front of the Nile with a private balcony with beautiful views in the quiet Elephantine Island. The room and living room/kitchen has a good size and it was super clean. The host Raghda was very nice and helped us to arrange the pick up service from Aswan to the island, kindly prepared us breakfast to take away the days we woke up early to visit Abu Simbel and other sites and was always available on WhatsApp for anything we needed. The breakfast served at the terrace was very delicious too 😊
