We planned to stay one night in Abu Simbel and we ended staying two! the village is very relaxing, quite, good food and the people are beautiful.
The light show at Abu Simbel temple is amazing and unforgettable. Ramadan can also organise a boat trip if you want, he is an amazing host and guide, he helps you with anything you need and want to do. We received free transportation to the temple and he also helped us to get a private ride to Aswan in a a very good price.
The apartment is very comfortable and clean, the bed and pillows too.
It is a shame so many tours just come to see the temples for the morning before returning to Aswan, as they miss out the wonderful, calm atmosphere here.
We highly recommend to stay here!

By far the best guesthouse of our stay in Egypt: the location is perfect, 10 minutes walk from the Great Temple and 5 minutes from a magnificent path which runs along Lake Nasser. And above all, Yassir's kindness is legendary: he organized lots of activities for us (the return trip from Aswan, a boat trip to see the sunrise over the temple, and even a breakfast on Lake Nasser ) at very attractive prices. He is also a cook, so don't hesitate to order dinner from him, you won't regret it!

The room was one of the best of our stay in Egypt. Tidy, clean, well equipped and spacious. A hairdryer was available as well. It's very well located in a quiet area, just 10-15 minutes walk from the temple.
The owners were hospitable and welcoming.

The place is great if you want to visit temple early in the morning, location is 3 minutes drive from the site. Owner is nice, responsif and helpfull. He is really thinking od what you may need: fresh water, soft drinks, a welcome cookie, slippers if bathroom floor is vet and even a hair drier :)

The location, the owner, everything in this apartment was great.
If you will spent the night in Abu Simbal you definitely should stay in this apartment. 10 min by walk from the temple. The breakfast is included and it will in the nearby hotel Tuya which also a good place to take a drink or to eat while waiting for the night show.
But the most important thing that you need to know is the kindness of the owner. He was helping us, before, during and after our stay. Thank you so much
Everything. The apartment was spacious, clean, with exellent wifi and AC, which was especialy usefull, becouse daily temeratures reached 37 degres Celsius.Ahmed was very nice and helped us with organising our activities. His mother is great chef and we ate some of the best food in our life.
Fantastic apartment type living with modern appliances. Simply amazing in rural Egypt. Even the restaurant was good. Breakfast was okay, but I did have the best omelette I have had in Egypt. I really enjoyed my time and have no issues recommending it.
Big and clean apartment with a comfy bed. The owner Ahmed is a lovely and helpful person. He booked everything we needed for our stay in Abu Simbel (temples, light show, French tour guide). Do not hesitate to have dinner onsite because the meal prepared by his mother was just delicious!
Very well furnished and comfortable apartment. Per our request, we were provided with a stove and cooking utensils. 1 km from the Abu Simbel temple. We had our car and driver for the overnight stay, so it was easy to make the trip to the temple in the evening for the sound and light show (besides the morning visit ). Place was very clean and shaban the owner of the apartment was very kind and good hospitality. We was leaving to Cairo early morning around 05:00 but he did packed us breakfast. He is a very good and a honest man. I recommend who ever comes to Abu simbel to take Al Fouad.
An impeccably clean and cozy apartment within walking distance of both the Abu Simbel temples and the bus station. The responsive host's thoughtful gesture of providing coffee, tea, and snacks added to the comfort of our stay.
It was great! Clean and comfortable. We were 3 people and the apartment was huge for us.
