We stayed in the apartment and just loved the view. We spent most of our time there. The air conditioning worked great. Nice simple breakfast in the lovely common area for $3.50. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our jungle excursion with Faustus was a great day.

The person renting the apartment never showed up to give us the key. Since the description here did not include apartment number, the front desk at the building could not help us. The owner did not answer our calls nor texts. We waited at our arranged time for over an hour before calling Booking.com and cancelling! The owner is an idiot and definitely not reliable!
Spacious apartment. Comfortable bed. It was so nice to have a kitchen so I could cook. Host drove me to the grocery store and helped me quickly buy groceries. Small grocery store one block away.
It was a very comfortable studio with the amenities one needs. And situated by the river to hear all the birds and animals in the morning and evening. Also, David the host was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and Ecuadorian culture and eager to share this. Definitely appreciated all the local knowledge and suggestions and how incredibly helpful he was. Muchas gracias David for everything including the chontacuro experience! We very much enjoyed our stay in Tena!
