This was our first stop on our trip and Natalie and Eduardo were kind and helpful. The grounds and views were lovely. Natalie even helped us get our SIM card figured out. We even got to sit in while they played their instruments and had a music jam with their friends. We felt welcome and would definitely recommend.

Fabian and his wife were very friendly, and with broken Spanish and English, we were able to communicate fairly well only resorting to the translator when it was important. Atuntaqui is a beautiful town with an amazing view of Cotachochi, a 5000-meter volcano. It is also centrally located to all of the towns in Ibarra Canton (A UNESCO site) I wanted to visit.

We had an excellent stay at La Casa de Hacienda as our hosts Natalie and Eduardo were always available and giving recommendations as well as organizing our trips with a local secure taxi to the local sights (Parque del Condor, Laguna de Cuicocha and Otaval market were the highlights). Conveniently located in a very calm place off the Panamericana, a 3usd ride from the city center. The breakfast was very good and the views around the Hacienda are amazing! Great place to relax.
Best deal in Otovalo. Spacious room with kitchen. Bicycles were stored safe in the apartment. Kitchen well enough equiped, we even were given a brand new kettle. All hostels in Otovalo were more expensive than this apartment.
The Apartment looks very new: nice fuenitire, fittes kitchen, balkony. The shower was eather ice cold or cooked water: impossible to have a shower here.
The flat is very big!
