For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Hennen did welcome us very late (almost 12 PM) but was still very friendly and nice. The flat ist small but you got everything you need and big balcony. We only stayed one night, because it is near to Legoland but I would have preffered to stay longer.
We stayed at Grindsted due to an event my son attended, and for that purpose the apartment was ideally located. We brought our bikes and biked 7 minutes to the event location. Legoland and Lalandia (for example) are accessible by public transportation as well (30-40 minutes by bus).
I stayed here during my business trip. Everything is in order, the apartments are clean, well-groomed. There are also free parking spaces. Everything suited me.
The name does not lie, the cottages are tiny. But they are also awesome. A real-life Moomin cottage. The sofa downstairs folds into a bed, but we ended up squeezing in, all five of us, on the sleeping loft just because it was so cozy.
Cosy, quiet, clean and well equipped apartment with lovely, very hospitable host. Good neighborhood, shops are just around the corner. I highly recommend this place.
