Peter is a kind, caring, helpful and generous host. We stayed in both of his apartments—-one on each end of our walk on the Lechweg Trail. They are both meticulously appointed and maintained. He provides coffee, tea, and soft drinks along with lots of interesting historical information about both the building and the apartments. He also gave us great advice about hiking and eating in Füssen as well as the very useful Füssen Card. He even texted us to check on our welfare since we were walking from village to village during Storm Boris. We very much appreciated that! Highly recommend!

Apartment was large and had great kitchen. Manager went above and beyond service giving us a ride to train station in the morning as there were no busses on a Sunday.

The view was spectacular, we could literally sit and look at Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles from our balcony, day or night (the castles are brightly illuminated at night). The room and the building were beautiful. We were on the top floor, and getting to our room involved walking up a beautiful gently circular staircase, to get to the room which opened with an on theme old timey skeleton key. The place was also wonderfully quiet and relaxing.
These quietly located apartments in Schwangau-Horn offer well-equipped kitchens, a balcony or terrace, and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels. Neuschwanstein Castle is just 1.9 mi away.

Location was very good for the Royal Castles. Facilities were good.

Our stay here was fantastic! The apartment was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The mountain views were spectacular, and we loved waking up to such a beautiful sight every morning. The hosts were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Hohenschwangau.

The service personell was super friendly. We forgot sth. in the apartment and they brought it to us after we had checked out already. The rooms are very spacious and would also be suited for a work trip. A plus was the bidet in the bathroom. The view onto the Castle Neuschwanstein from the bedroom was just amazing. Overall definitely worth it. And the breakfast was alright.
Great location for getting an early start visiting the local castles. You also get to leave your car there during the day following your stay. I stayed in the annex which was very comfy and had everything I needed for a short stay - even a view of the castle from my bathroom window! Had a good breakfast in the main hotel the next morning all ready for the hike up to the castle.
Make sure you buy your tickets for the castles in advance to avoid disappointment.

Right at the doorstep of Neuschwanstein Castle! Can see the castle right up there on the mountain from the apartment balcony. Host Helmuth was great. Friendly, helpful. He responsive and came by to assist us when we encounter difficulty with operating the washing machine and dryer. He even exchange coins with us for use in the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook meals.
Apartment perfectly located between historical mountain castles!! Friendly staff, good breakfast, nearby trekking routes makes Hotel Alpenstuben highly recommended for a memorable visit to Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein.
