I was unable to experience the property due to a frustrating situation. After booking my stay through Booking.com, I never received an email with the necessary pin to access the room. When I arrived, no staff were present, and my attempts to reach anyone by phone were unsuccessful. Unfortunately, I had no alternative accommodations as no other hotels in the area were open. This lack of communication and support made for a disappointing and stressful experience.

We were amazed at how helpful Helmut & Petra were to us! We won’t assume that all they did for us is normal but if it is, they have to be the best in Germany Airbnb’s Sound! The modern apartment was very well prepared for long stays. The kitchen had all cooking utensils and options that one could ask for. The deck was ample for four people, and we enjoyed evenings there.

Love love love! This apartment has been exceptionally renovated with beautiful high-end furnishings. The host has considered every creature comfort for guests. Ernst is a picturesque and quiet village only 5km from Cochem. Perfect in every way for exploring the Mosel Valley. Do yourself a favour, stay here!!
Very clean, great location, amazing breakfast & bicycle rental were all plus points. Staff were friendly and proactive. Recommended for holidays stay with family.
The apartment was bright and airy with plenty of space, both the living room and bedroom had balconies and there was also a kitchenette and bathroom. The balconies faced in opposite directions so you got both morning and afternoon sun; the front overlooks the river and the back overlooks the vineyards. The kitchenette was well equipped.
Well located for restaurants, wine, bus etc.
The house is lovely from outside and inside, well equipped and our spacious apartment included a terrace. Staff was very friendly. Location was great for walking, near the river (no river view though) and wine yards. Close to Cochem and many small villages around.
