The flat was beautifully thought out , with many helpful extras. Sara was anxious that we were happy and had even left some local wine as a welcome gesture. She had also provided us with GastFahrkarten, which allowed us to use local public transport (trains and buses), with certain restrictions. It was quite hot during our stay, so we appreciated the cooler temperature inside, particularly at night time.
We loved the location with view from the living room on the Mosel and hills. The size is perfect for 2. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need. Even knifes that are sharp! The mattresses were just perfect for us. Slept very well. The cleanliness of the whole apartment is remarkable. The silence was the most important for us and thoroughly enjoyed that.
This was such a wonderful property! The owner and his dog were both very nice (and the owner spoke English perfectly). The house was expertly renovated, comfortable and had everything we needed! It was also decorated very well with lots of small touches. The location right by the river was perfect, we met up with friends at a nearby campground and had an easy time walking in between. The apartment is also very dog friendly and my dog was welcomed for only a small fee. We will definitely be back!
Our hosts were superb, meeting us early at the apartment so that we could leave our bags. We were then able to cycle to the supermarket for provisions (about 6 km away). There was everything that we needed and the view was superb. We were able to store our bike in the garage which was a real bonus. Another nice touch was the smart TV with Netflix which allowed us to watch a couple of movies in English (none of the other places that we stayed up until then had this).
