It's a very nice place to stay at Tarrafal for few days. The apartment has few rooms and big common kitchen. U can make a coffee and some breakfast at the kitchen too
If you don't have mobile internet, notice that next to the door of the Penŝao you can catch the free wifi Tenda which helps you to connect the Lady who will bring you the keys
And on Google maps you can follow the Cafe Amadora geotag, it's exactly in frond of the Penŝao
So location is the best - 2 mins from alluger station (in front of the Shell petrol st), 2 mins to the supermarket, 5 mins to the beach and 3 mins to the bank (if you need a money exchange).
Also I walked to the Museum Campo de Consentraçao about 20 mins. And you can catch the local "public" pick-up for 100 escudo to get to the Ribeira da Prata (the black sand beach)

Great location. 15 minutes from beach and shops. Lovely large terrace to sit and watch the sun setting over the sea. Nelita is lovely, she looked after us very well and was always available to answer any questions etc.
The kitchen is quite well equipped and if you need anything else,Nelita will try and get it for you!
The bedroom has a large new closet for clothes.
Nelita also booked our taxi to the airport for us.

I loved the surroundings and facilities! Especially if you come from the beach, you can shower outside before entering the whole apartment. It's a cozy place for the whole family. It has a nice terrace where you can relax and see the amazing view.
Exactly like pictures. Its clean, has comfortable beds, at a good location not far from center nor beach. The owner Maria was super nice, so is the staff, cleaning lady. The apartment has a guard from night time to early morning
The view from the room took my breath away! The room was a whole apartment and it was clean and modern. Amazing facilities in the best location. The receptionists were very helpful, kind and polite.
Greatest appartement we had on Santiago. Simple but good facilities in the apartments, and the balcony is just WOW - greatest view and sunset!!

We loved this apartment. It is beautifully decorated, light, clean and very spacious. It is right by little cafes and restaurants used by both tourists and locals. The beach is a few minutes walk away and it is amazing for swimming and snorkelling.
We highly recommend this place and would stay again on our next trip. Excellent communication with the host. The apartment can be tricky to find - it is an apartment just above the Caixa bank.
We had a nice apartment with a terrace and great ocean view. The kitchen had everything you need also for a longer stay for self catering. But the hotel has also a very good restaurant, even though a little bit pricy. The location in Tarrafel is simply great (i) walking distance to the sandy beaches and (ii) in short walking distance you are in the middle of town, where you can stock up and find some nice restaurants.
