A good apartment tucked away in a quiet neighbour hood. Good communication with the owner throughout my stay. I had to book another 3 nights as my ferry departure was delayed, but it all worked out well. I had the place to myself for all except one of the nights which was nice. Less than a ten minute walk to the nearest beach which was lovely. Thank you.
Actually, there are not so many choices where to stay in Tarrafal, Edificio Magico is one of the more convenient. It is an oldish, bit tired place, but everything works well and is clean. I had apartments with a kitchenette, so it is possible to make your own meals. They also provide breakfast – modest but adequate and the breakfast room is on the terrace with a sea view. Service is very friendly and helpful. Location is unbeatable – practically in the centre (though there is not much of Tarrafal anyway) and practically on the beach.
Right at the heart of the town with everything you need in less than 1 min walk.
Bathroom and shower were amazing, spacious and pretty.
Room has A/C which helps with the temperature of the room overnight, as you can't open the windows due to the noise outside. There is also a small fridge which helps keeping the water cold
