Great frog walking tour onsite, bird watching with breakfast. Comfortable beds and caring owners. Convenient to la Fortuna for dinner, and they recommended sloth’s territory which we enjoyed very much. We liked italianissimo for pizza.

This was a last minute pick but one of our favorite places we’ve stayed(we would’ve liked to stay longer def a great place for a week . The location is amazing, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and even let us stay on the property while we waited for our bus. The room was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed to be able to comfortable cook (oven, stove, rice cooker, coffee maker, knives, breadboard). They also had a ping pong table and pool table that were amazing and lots of fun. Great property and can’t wait to stay there again.

Very clean room with big comfy bed. In a quiet neighborhood but within minutes walking distance to town. Light cleaning provided as well as towel exchange. Laundry service is reasonable and exceptional.

Some places get an 11/10. This is an authentic Costa Rica experience, away from the mass tourism of La Fortuna but also close enough to get there in a few minutes (by car) or even walk.
The cabin is spotless, cold AC, warm water and good WiFi. Carlos and Rosie are the most wonderful hosts. You're staying in a working farm, so you can milk cows (and drink fresh milk) and see some wild animals up close, including sloth, monkey and toucans. As others mention the hummingbirds like to congregate in the garden.
There is a little country store nearby with a few essentials, and the community is real and safe. Nice country walks.
