Great location, fabulous facilities, very clean with comfy bed. 15-20 min level walk into the city centre. Great rooftop terrace with gym and (not very hot) hot tub. Reception staff very polite and helpful.

The studio itself was pretty spacious and clean. It felt like the owners had really tried to make it nice. Unfortunately it has some damp and smelt musty despite the dehumidifier. We met the owners when they collected payment (cash only) and they seemed very nice. It's only a few blocks from the Tracopa bus station. The neighbourhood let's it down - it requires a sturdy gate before the front door and the streets are in poor condition, it didn't feel particularly safe here. There is nothing of note in the Chinatown neighbourhood so no reason to stay any longer than the night after the bus arrived.

For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Amazing, flawless! The apartment has everything you need! For someone, perhaps it matters, so I will write: there was no tea, coffee, sugar, salt, etc. I always take everything with me, what I like, but sometimes for the lack of this they lower the ratings, it is strange.
The apartment was FULLY equipped with every convenience. We had two balconies, one off the bedroom and the other off the great room. Cleaning service midweek was unexpected and welcome. We plan to return next year.
The apartment was located in a very nice suburb near the city. You defiantly needed a car but most things were close. There were a few walkable places near by but a car is best. the apartment was lovely! very clean, sleek, and the view was amazing. The owner was very responsive and left water, tea, and coffee for you to enjoy. The unit had a washer (no dryer) and came equipped with a full kitchen, towels, and Netflix access. I would highly recommend this apartment for your stay in San Jose.
Julio, the host, was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time and first day in Costa Rica and he gave us loads of advice and was so keen to offer his help any time we would be in need.
The rooms are small but comfortable. The house is super unique loft which makes experience even more rich than staying in some regular hotels :).
We also enjoyed delicious breakfast with a nice view from the kitchen.
Would definitely recommend.
I reserved the room at the last minute because a couple of my employees were trapped in the Escazu area do to logistics issues. I liked the inexpensive cost for a three bedroom apartment and that they offered breakfast for a nominal fee.
