This is a beautifully architected and designed property located right in cahuita. The grounds are beautiful. We picked our own bananas one morning right from the yard! We also saw cool birds and agoutis. It’s a short walk to the national park and all the beaches and restaurants cahuita has to offer. Ann, the host, was extremely nice and helpful in suggesting activities and restaurants in the area.

We had an amazing time in Cahuita, and our stay at Serenity Houses is a big part of the reason why. The apartment is in a private and gated property, located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. You also have private parking space right infront of your apartment!l The apartment was very clean and in the middle of the beautiful nature of Cahuita. That means you see and hear beautiful wildlife every day, such as monkeys, turtles, crabs, various birds and butterflies. The host shared that you can even spot sloths on the property on some occasions!
The apartment is within 5 minutes of major attractions: Cahuita National Park, the Cocoa Museum, the Natural Pools, and several beautiful beaches. About 20 minutes away you can access waterfalls, nightlife, additional restaurants, wildlife refuges and more beautiful beaches! Swimming, hiking, snorkelling, surfing, kayaking and more. The people of Cahuita are also very kind, which added to our pleasant experience.
The apartment host is accessible during your entire stay, she was so kind and helpful whenever we needed guidance or additional items for the apartment. She helped us access the turtle refuge, try local foods and attend local events. I would highly recommend this place and we are planning to return for a longer time. This place feels like a home away from home and you will have everything you need to enjoy this beautiful city!

The host was very nice and stayed up for us even though our bus was delayed late into the night. The apartment also had a very good stove and a fridge. There was also a nice outdoor seating area as well as the room being spacious and pleasant. It was also opposite a grocery store and within 5 mins walk of the main area of town as well as the beach and national park.
The room was very spacious, the kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to cook almost anything that we wanted. The apartment was very clean and the room didnt feel as hot as other places in the Caribbean.

Beautiful property! The apartment was clean and private, the hosts were friendly, and the walk was short to downtown. The hosts helped us to book all of the things we wanted to do and we had a magical time.
The studio is simple but well equiped with a small kitchen. You can open the big doors and watch the wildlife from the room or the porch. As it is located at the border of the park, you can see monkeys, birds and also agoutis were walking in the garden. There is no airco but the fan does his job and there is a good mosquito net.
This is a very good quality and comfortable rental. We booked the whole property and used all three rooms. We liked the indoor - outdoor lounge and kitchen and found the pool a delight. We enjoyed the birds and animals in the surrounding trees. The property caretaker was helpful and charming. We highly recommend this property.

You are surrounded by large trees and plants,with the sound of the park next door, I regularly heard Howler monkeys and actually saw one crossing the road via tree outside

The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented with flowers placed all around the apartment. Marice and her staff made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to help if they were asked anything. They even helped us find somewhere that would replace a tyre on our rental vehicle. The beautiful beach is just a short stroll down a narrow road. The grounds had loads of birds and wild life that we could view from our balcony. I would love to stay here again.
