Fantastic clean plunge pool for anytime cool downs (life saver). A/C is such a treat. Daily cleaning of suite with fresh linens and towels every few days. Most comfortable bed I slept in this trip.
The owner, Linden, goes above and beyond and is always available. He can set you up with anything you need, but you'll soon become friends with many people wanting to help. True genuine kindness, unspoiled by tourists. This island and its community will touch your heart and soul.

100% recommendation. We stayed at Shamar Lodge for almost 3 weeks and felt right at home. The apartment is brand new, has very good air conditioning in the room and there is the possibility to cook (fridge, 2 hotplates and kitchen utensils are available). Everything is super clean and the room is cleaned regularly. The location is perfect, you can walk to Almond Beach (one of the most beautiful beaches on the island). A great diving school is also right in the neighborhood and within walking distance. The other beaches and bays can be reached quickly by scooter.
Martin and Sasha, the owners of the lodge, are incredibly helpful. There is probably no better service. They are both super attentive and do everything they can to make their guests feel at home. They were always available and supported us, whether we were looking for a guide for a hike, wanted to rent a scooter or hire bikes. We have taken Martin and Sasha to our hearts and would always come back to Shamar Lodge!

The studio is located on the southwest corner of the island above the sea. You have your own balcony, shaded by trees, with an outdoor kitchen. You can hear the sound of the sea and experience beautiful sunsets. The owners are artists and the whole house is very individually designed. Everything you need is there for a relaxing holiday. WiFi has also been available recently. The wonderful southwest Besch can be reached in five minutes on foot. Gabriela will organize a scouter or a taxi to the airport for you if necessary. The best choice we could have made. We decided to walk the little distance from the airport enjoying the turquoise coloured waterside. The extraordinary host has treated us like kings. The bed and facilities were incredible, especially we've liked the ocean view from the outside porch. It was the most affordable and also the best of the three places we have experienced at Providencia.
