This has to have been the most enjoyable hotel stay in a 60 year lifetime of world travel and many hundreds of hotel bed nights. Apart from the excellent facilities and very comfortable room it was the extraordinary helpfulness and generosity of the reception staff that made this short stay in Xining so memorable.
