For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. A gorgeous, modern hotel in a traditional building. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful when we arrived, offering us a secure garage for the motorbikes and letting us into the room early. The rooms were large and comfortable and the restaurant was great.
The apartment for 5 has a very interesting vibe to it, it made us curious to know its history and gave us the feeling as if it might let us in on some secrets from the past. We loved the wooden floors and the old windows; I found out later that the place used to be a shoemaker’s shop, which added to the value of the place in a way. I recommend!
We stayed here for a night as we had planned to visit Titlis.
Apartment : is on the 2nd floor. Is a very basic apartment with sufficient beds. 2 bedrooms, 1 living room. Towels were provided. 2 fans were provided.
Parking: mostly available nearby (Dorfplatz) and free between 19:00 to 08:00.
Host: the keys were picked up from the Restaurant Tell Italian. He spoke English.
Very, very basic but fine. Not really suitable for daytime use due to lack of privacy from restaurant and pavements on main road. Good public transport connections to Luzern but not really usable due to parking problems (see below). Owner friendly. Flat was clean.
The location was good, the bathroom was acceptable and the beds were comfortable, BUT this does not meet the normal description of an "apartment"
