Room is simple, spacious and very clean, took us about fifteen minites to walk there from train station, super easy to find. The location is about 2/3 to train station and 1/3 to cable car station heading Glacier paradise , perfectly situated and very convenient to walk either direction. Wifi signal in room is strong and fast. Simon replies my message very quickly, he prepared tea bags for guests other than the coffee machine. There's refrigerator, stove top to cook a simple meal, very good for a short stay in this beautiful town Zermatt.
Window curtain is outside the window, not inside, follow the instruction besides the window on the wall, you should be able to figure it out:)
As for Late Oct, if it's a sunny day, don't wait, just go to the mountain top ASAP, because, it's easily to get cloudy in the afternoon and you end up seeing nothing.

The apartment has everything it needs but it is a bit old.
If your purpose is to see the Matterhorn than is propably one of the best places in Zermatt.

We loved the quiet and beautiful village Randa.. the view from the apartment was excellent from all the rooms.. Apartment was spacious and well equipped.. My little ones loved the Randa treasure hunt..
The flat is located in Randa, down the valley from Zermatt. This means that everything is accessible but you do not have the noise and bustle of Zermatt, this was good for us. Public transport is brilliant, you can buy a multi day pass at Randa that covers most journeys on the trains and cable cars. The flat is spotlessly clean, stylish and with great facilities. I loved the sunny balcony with Mountain View’s after a days walking.
Lovely apartment with large living room and full equipped kitchen. Easy approach to Zermatt. Nice views from apartment, quiet location. If you are coming by own car just go to Tasch which is just 5 min away connect to Zermatt by shuttle train.
Hosts were incredibly accommodating. Apartment had everything we needed including a fully furnished kitchen. Randa is a nice and peaceful village - only a short train ride to Zermatt.
Ben the host kept in contact all the time. We had a few issues during our stay and he was always able to get back quickly. The apartment looked exactly like the photos.
The apartment was super nice, comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equiped. We appreciated also the host, who was very nice.The view to the village and the valley is also wonderful, especially in winter. The apartment is in a quiet location, but also close to train station, just a few minutes walk.
We have been very positively surprise by the size and quality of the apartment. We only regreted that it was such s short stay. The aparment has perfect location, just next to train station to catch a train to Zermatt. Randa village is is beautiful.
