The property was very cute! A nice little kitchenette, private bathroom/shower with great water pressure, and a nice little seating area outside! The location was great, a 10-minute walk from a grocery and from downtown Appenzell. The host was very kind, welcoming, and helpful! 10/10 would stay again.

Ursi was a wonderful host. It was a treat to walk into a clean, cool place after a long day of biking. The shower in the bathroom was very good. Bed was comfortable and closing the window at night made for excellent soundproofing from the church bells that sound every 15 minutes. Breakfast each morning in her garden was delightful. Seems like a small thing but I was very pleased to find the bathroom had tissues and washcloths - items that are usually lacking.

Everything about the property was just perfect. From the design to the view to the tiniest of details within the studio itself, it was so beautifully made. Would recommend anyone to stay here over a hotel.
For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Everything! The apartment was huge (and so were all the bedrooms) and it was immaculately clean. Check-in was super smooth. Best of all? There is a bedroom with attached bathroom on the lower floor which worked out great for my 87-year-old mother with mobility issues. The apartment was well-stocked with cookware and there is a grocery store just 5 minutes by foot.
Easy to find and access, as it is close to a main road, but it is still quiet and calm. Beautiful surroundings, lots of possibilities for hiking: nice lakes, waterfalls, mountains. Useful collection of brochures and hiking / restaurant tips in the apartment (we tried and really enjoyed Restaurant Gade mini Beiz). Apartment was extra clean, and comfortable, and hosts were kind and helpful.
We stayed here for a week with our toddler daughter. The property is very comfortable and clean and stocked with everything you could need for cooking, cleaning etc. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Having some toys/puzzles in the apartment and play equipment outside was perfect to keep our little one busy while we were trying to get ready for adventures.
The Zwingli family were so kind and helpful. The location is ideal to travel around to see the Toggenburg region. The apartment is of an extremely high standard, exceptionally clean and with everything that you need for your stay. The rooms are spacious and it has a new bathroom with a washer and dryer. Free parking out back. Wi-Fi was excellent.
