The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the quay with stunning views. Our second studio (we asked to be moved) was spacious and well appointed, albeit still no view due to the trees.. The host was very friendly and accommodating, especially in her efforts to take care of a wasps nest next to our front door - she was extremely brave. We scored higher due to the host's hospitatilty.
The apartment was very quiet and in a superb setting overlooking the Saguenay Fjord. It was very well placed for walking, being at one end of the Poets’ Trail. Louis was extremely helpful and friendly.
This was the lower level of Gary's personal home. He has made the rental area into a full size apartment, living room has 2 couches, full kitchen with fridge, stove, keurig coffee machine, microwave, full size bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Plus the walk-out patio with views of the bay. 2 chickens in the coop lay eggs which Gary gave us some for breakfast. Comfy beds. Very quiet and relaxing area.
