Due to our late arrival time (~10:30pm) at Comox Airport, our friendly host Vince kindly offered to pick us up at the airport and show us into to our apartment.
We basically got a large 2 BR apartment with a full kitchen. We have stayed here before and had ordinary hotel rooms so this was a change. It was comfortable. To be clear this is not a fancy hotel. It's a mid range motel.
The size of the room was amazing - a large two bedroom apartment with kitchenette. The property consisted of older motel rooms - which I like for overall privacy and the direct access to outside. The sofa in the living room was newer as were the beds and they were all comfortable.
Good location, outside heated pool, free breakfast, liked the two bedroom suite with fridge, stove, microwave, 2 flatscreens, good internet, sushi restaurant on site.
Visit the Air Force Museum, also has planes outside to view.
Our stay at the Oceanfront Paradise was absolutely wonderful. The apartment could not be closer to the beach and it was generously stocked with food and toiletries. We found the bed very comfortable and really appreciated how accommodating Vince and Henny were, when our plans changed. Most of all, we enjoyed the abundance of wildlife from eagles and seals to hummingbirds and deer. It was amazing!
The oceanfront location is absolutely amazing. Fantastic views from every room in the apartment and directly on the beach.
