For travelers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Facilities were nice and clean, they have a self catering kitchen and a pool. Staff were fairly helpful with finding my way to town and getting information about the taxis since you have to walk about 1km to the main road to find any taxis.
Had all the necessary amenities, room spacious, self catering, close to supermarket. A good choice. Back of property had an observation deck over the Chobe river.
We had a riverfront apartment and the view of the Chobe river and the sunrise was amazing. We were able to sit on the balcony and bird watch. The main bedroom opens out onto the balcony and you can lie in bed and watch the river. The breakfasts were lovely and we had a barbeque dinner one evening which was also lovely. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful with advice of where to go and buy things.
Great location and a very nice apartment with all the mod cons.
Breakfast is absolutely top class with a comprehensive choice of food available
Safari tours can be booked directly from the Sandpipers main office, and the tour guide picks you up at the reception
Our stay was fantastic, with no complaints. I'd like to commend the thoughtful touch of providing repellent cream upon arrival; it's a great idea. However, I would suggest including room repellent as part of the apartment's amenities.
The self catering apartment was clean tidy and very well looked after
Food was top notch, the chef and the restaurant staff looked after us very well.
The evening meal we had was huge, so don’t eat at lunchtime
View over the Chobe river which was right outside our rooms was wonderful
It is best to be in an apartment on the first floor of one of the two blocks by the river
