Modern and shiny clean place. Excellent comfortable room, as excellent were the bathroom and the shower. Large terrace. Good position, just 5 minutes from the praias, near good typical restaurants (not tourist traps). We didn't have breakfast but it looked excellent. Good value for money.

Despite many people talking about the location, I consider the hotel to be very well situated, very close to the city center and relatively accessible from the pier. The hill itself is difficult to access and is not recommended for people with mobility difficulties. We went with my 90-year-old grandmother, and this turned out to be a good option. The hotel also has many stairs, so if you have someone older or with mobility issues, it's advisable to request in advance to stay in the chalets closest to the reception. The staff was always very friendly and attentive. We had a 3-night stay, and each day when we returned to the room, it had been cleaned, beds made, and towels replaced. I'm not sure if the pool is heated, but the water was always warm, perfect for those sensitive to the cold ;)

The owner was lovely and the place was well maintained and had good kitchen equipment. The shower had hot water. Bed sheets were nice as well. We booked very last minute(like an hour before) and the owner popped us an extra towel the next day as the room wasn’t equipped for 2 to begin with. It was nice that he remembered.
Local shops were close by.

keys were at door when i arrived. i was staying in the ground floor apartment with kitchen and simple dining table. bed is good. host was very available via messenger and very accommodating. i extended my stay. accommodation is simple but everything including kitchen is working fine. relyable internet also for streaming and zoom conferences. neighborhood is very local, some simple shops and bakery there, no other tourists in that street, walk to the beach around 30min / to the port 15min.
Our stay could not have been better, the garden is spectacular, full of flowers and birds. The breakfast was outstanding , prepared by our hosts with love , care and style. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony looking out to the garden. Our hosts were always kind and helpful.
Extraordinary poussada with the kindest most wonderful hosts. Every detail was welcoming, beautiful relaxing magical experience in the heart of nature. I slept so well, lulled by the sweet hum of the forest and just a few steps for the ocean and a lovely short walk to the village centre. This place is very healing and one of the hosts is also an excellent massotherapist. If you enjoy nature hikes or want to learn about capoeira, your host will give you precious unforgettable experiences. Such a treasure, I miss my lovely little apartment!
