Wonderful place to explore Ghent. 10 minute walk from everything you would want to see. 30 minute walk from train station, although the tram will take you from the train station to the front door if you prefer. We read some reviews about tram noise, but it was not an issue for us at all. Also people mentioned the apartment was dark -- no, tons of windows throughout. When turning on the lights, important to depress the light switch several seconds until the lights are fully on, otherwise they WILL seem very dim. Bed was very comfy (firm mattress), kitchen had everything we needed, apartment is spacious and airy, pictures represent exactly what the apartment looks like. It does have a tiny elevator to the first floor, so I rode with luggage and my husband walked the 20 or so steps up to the front door. We loved our stay and would come back for sure. Host was very easy to correspond with. Be aware there is an extra city tax fee you need to leave in Euros when you leave.

Location was amazing. Incredible views from the window of the main harbor in Ghent, all the main churches and belfry were visible from the kitchen windows.

The apartment was clean, well-kept, pleasant surroundings, good contact with the owner, a nice surprise were additional sets of towels, the kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook yourself. I was with my wife and son and we had a very nice time in this place. I highly recommend it to everyone
No breakfast the room was too small dangerous loft stairs toilet next to bed open plan roof was too low ,the whole room was rubbish not suited for senior guests ,I have pictures, if you send me a reply I will send them ,the room has no internal pictures on your web site ,I wonder why .I was hoping for a full refund .regards trevor bartholomew.
We liked the very friendly and helpful host and the spacious apartment. The location was on the edge of Wetteren but walking distance to some good facilities. Including a great pop up bar and lovely woodland area. Plus it was easy to get to Ghent, Brussels Brugge and the coast (about 1 hour or so away)
