The apartment was fantastic an in a wonderful location. There was a lift so NO stairs - which is not common for Europe. There were great restaurants and coffee shops practically next door, and it was a 5 minute walk to the Centre.

Very useful honesty shop for essentials especially as nearest supermarkets are 10mins walk away, and they close at 2300.
Convenient for the Lamme Goedzak boat to Damme just a short 5-min walk away (Damme is a great half-day trip on the boat or bike ride).

For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. The breakfast was fantastic, you can eat everything from egg to fruit, delicious caffe with lots of milk. It was more better what we waited. Nice garden, clean flat and kind staff
If you are travelling by car, it is a great place to stay if you want to see Bruges nearby. The owner was friendly and responsive to our needs. Very clean and comfortable apartment with all the essentials. We were offered to park our car in the garage, which is another advantage.
All in all, it is a great deal.
A lovely quirky place. Karel met us on arrival and explained everything. The rental is a converted loft on Karel's cider and vineyard and included a bottle of his own cider with on arrival which was very welcome. Maldegem town is about 40 mins walk away - quite a busy road but v straight forward and was easy to catch a bus to Brugges for a day sightseeing. Really not sure why some reviews complain about lack of breakfast as the rental is just for the room which was well equipped and perfect for our needs.
