I have very unpleasant experience with this place, which is because of the unprofessional management,
Fun story is like below:
We paid a package, 5 days, for last week of December. In order to spend the new year last night at this nature resort place, I asked the BOOKING to extend one day for me. BOOKING asked me to directly requested the hotel side, then the hotel asked me to pay via a link (more expensive price). I did it at the first moment days before I arrived. And the reception sends a confirmation email to welcome good entry into their place.
We shall think here, that they have to register all these information in their systems or at least, on their white boards, whatever they need to think a good way!!!
The bad experience started from the last day morning of December (we extended the date to 1 January). In the early morning, the cleaning staff started to knock the door. We refused to open. And in the afternoon, the manger telephoned me, and asked me to check out as soon as possible. She strongly said: I haven’t found any records in the systems. And I asked her, if she is the only one manager, and she confirmed this. Then I have to send them all my payment records and emails records to them. Finally, other male manager found that they indeed made a mistake.
Unfortunately they did not do many corrections, just said sorry in the phone for this mistake. And they reminded me to pay for the dog stays. I fully agreed and paid it.
BUT, I used the BOOKING to reserve the hotel in many hotels and places. This place does not indicate any exact price that shall be paid for dog entry. And there is no reception in this place to tell us. Finally when they requested us to pay for the dog entry, they asked very higher price than any other places in EU. It is not friendly enough.

The location was very beautiful, close to the Netherlands where we are coming from but also close to nature protected areas where you can cycle or walk. The studio was super clean and we loved the style of the decoration/ furniture.
The best surprise of this accommodation is definitely the owner of the place, such a lovely woman. She made us feel like home and she was always available to help us with everything. A very comfortable baby bed and a changing pad were provided to us where our baby could easily sleep and get changed.
We will hopefully come back to see Lucienne again. Highly recommended if you want to get away of your busy life and to calm down for a few days.

We stayed comfortably here because rooms are spacious and clean, the kitchen was furnished well, the bathroom was clean. Supermarket and restaurants/bars are nearby and you can walk here from Genk station. We highly recommend this apartment and appreciate the owner's hospitality!
The apartment is a small house directly in the city of Genk. A lot of restaurants and bars are around the apartment.
The apartment is equipped with everything you need. When you enter the apartment, you feel at home, it’s so cozy.
There are two bedrooms. One in the 1st floor, it’s like a parent bedroom and a room under the roof, which is loft-style and equipped with a foosball table and cocktail chairs.
The bathroom is very modern and equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
I loved everything - the apartment was comfortable, stylish, with a stunning view.
The host is really nice - left us some water, candies, a bottle of champaign, earplugs. It was easy to check-in.
Next to the apartment, there is a beautiful forest where you can take a walk & the neighbourhood is lovely.
The train/bus station is 15 minutes by feet.
The hosts Stephan & Etha were excellent, extremely helpful throughout our stay.
The apartment was fantastic, very tastefully furnished throughout, immaculately clean and was superbly equipped with everything that you could imagine, fantastic location with a good range of eateries within easy walking distance
We would not hesitate to book again should we return to the Genk arear.
Good location, amazing view from the window, unusual and beautiful interior design. The apartments have everything you might need.
