For the travellers who appreciate a space of their own at the end of the day, an apartment or flat is the perfect home away from home. Furnished rooms and kitchen facilities give groups and families the flexibility to enjoy downtime separately, or plan the next day’s activities over a shared meal. Often available for short and long-term.
Everything about this place is great. Cosy loft had everything you need for a nice and peaceful getaway. Fireplace, great views, llamas and the stillness of nature were the highlights for us. It’s a really good sign when at the end of your stay, you don’t want to go back to the busy city. Thank you, Heather and Glen, you’re wonderful hosts and we’ll be back.
Relaxing was not a problem at such a comfortable apartment, with endless views and welcoming Heather. Delicious breakfast supplies were much appreciated, great advice on local sights and walks, and to top it off, the arrival of a brand new baby alpaca while we were there
Large clean, well decorated single room with comfortable king bed(thanks for an upgrade!). Microwave, bar fridge, coffee maker, toaster and kettle in wardrobe. large veranda with great view of Smith’s Beach. Large grounds with Cape Barron Geese, roos and rabbits - direct access to the beach via path for the fit and agile only. Very peaceful. Recommend for a short stay!
A very comfortable well appointed first floor apartment. Quiet nights with views of lights along the coastline from balcony and sounds of surf at nearby Smiths Beach. Abundance of birdlife including harriers hunting on dunes, ducks,geese and friendly domestic chickens. With a good variety of breakfast items we started the days at our own pace and finished with a dusk stroll across the paddocks to sit and watch wildlife at the dam before returning to the cosy warm apartment to cook dinner. A very enjoyable stay.
Convenient location and fine for the one night we needed accommodation close to the penguins.
Ideal property for family with large number of older children as the back studio would be ideal for a gang of teenagers.

We spent absolutely wonderful time at Heather and Glen’s place. The loft is very clean and cozy with beautiful view and lovely alpacas next door. Truly beautiful place in the nature.
Nice breakfast provisions have been included (eggs , milk, butter ,yogurt, cheese, salmon, bacon, homemade granola and freshly baked bread).
We are looking forward to staying again.
