The Marina apartments are located in a very pleasant location at the entrance to the marina and close to the esplanade. The jetty is within walking distance. We were greeted cheerfully upon arrival for our one-night stay. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. We made use of the ale house next door for a well-provided dinner. There are also some excellent eateries in the town centre, although it is not within walking distance.

We booked through booking . com. Received a text msg from Loraine. The key is in the locker with a code , level 1 room 4 at 12.30. So we arrived at 3 only to open the doors to a dirty room , bed no made, towels on the floor in bathroom , big bag of toilet rolls on kitchen bench. Very disappointing. So I tried contacting Lorraine's mobile and left messages several times without any reply, only to receive a phone call later that evening. She apologised, saying the owner stayed last night and obviously it hadn't been cleaned. So I called reception and the lovely lady there said she had the room next door free for us if we would like to take a look and have that one which was exactly the sane type of room but beautifully clean and a lot cheaper. So I told Loraine that's what we are doing and would like a full refund on the room we originally paid for.

The location was superb with fabulous ocean views including the jetty.
Watching the sunsets and the changing vista during the day was lovely, even watching the inclement weather arriving was fascinating.

The location overlooking the jetty and the bay is sensational. There is the option of waling into town, an easy 2k stroll along a flat walking path. Easy to get to the jetty if you feel like fishing.
Everything about this apartment has the “wow” factor- the position and view is second to none, the decor is beautifully presented and it contained absolutely everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The walk down the beach path for dinner was any easy walk. Thank you for generously sharing this little gem with us. Highly recommend.
Great apartment with great facilities. The hosts were lovely...thanks for the anniversary gift. We had the added bonus of watching a spectacular lightning show and storm from the cliff top!!! Would recommend this place as a go to in the future.
Amazing apartment (Hancock upstairs) was beautifully renovated and modern with a view over the jetty. Direct step access to the beach and jetty was a plus. Sunsets were incredible. Adam was excellent to deal with when we had a minor balcony door issue.
Very comfortable beds. Plenty of comfortable furniture in the kitchen/dining/living room. View was fantastic.
Good design of the apartment. Kitchen well equipped.
