The 2 bedroom apartment was terrific, spacious and clean. Good heating in all rooms. We had dinner at the pub which was a tasty pub meal. No brekkie, but a great cafe abut 150 metres up the road.
We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment upstairs with our kids, was bigger and nicer than expected (no photos of this room when booking so wasn’t sure what to expect). Beds really comfy. Had dinner at the New Crown and was great food for reasonable price. Would definitely stay again.
The cleaner was a God send. He was extremely helpful when the battery in the tv remote went flat. Nothing was too difficult for him. We left a bit of a mess but he smashed it and never once complained. The flexibility to enable us to add extra days to our holiday with a pet. Thank you so much
Sweet little flat, warm and cosy with all amenities provided. Lots of space for our dog to run around and play fetch. We appreciated being able to park our car within the property too. Comfy bed and lovely hot shower. Would stay here again!
A complete holiday apartment with washer & vacuum, I truly loved the yard and the fact this is truly - truly pet friendly right down to the fake (very realistic looking) plants (so many flowers and plants are toxic to pets, Black Cottage took extra care to make very lovely plant decorations without any accidental toxicity).
The downstairs apartment was far better than I expected. It had multiple aircon units in the bedrooms and living area, a brand new bathroom and great kitchen facilities. It was super clean and felt very fancy for Hay! My family thought it was awesome and we loved our short stay - we would definitely recommend it to others!
