Host Kay was delightful to deal with. Many lovely little touches that made my stay so enjoyable in the downstairs apartment. The bed, linen and pillows were luxurious. There was an added bonus of having a front loader washing machine neatly tucked away in the room. Beautiful views from the little patio seating area, overlooking the river and gardens - perfect for a glass of wine after a long day at work.
A little way out of town but worth it. Met by Kay and Finn the dog, after small talk she took us down to the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know. Had a large fridge/freezer and microwave also a washing machine which was great. The lounge area was great a chair and a couch. A table with 2 dinning chairs. The bedroom was large with a king sized bed. The bathroom was lovely. Due to bush fires and smoke we didnt sit outside but it had a lovely outside area with a BBQ.
Loved the location. The idea of feeding and attracting birds at the end of the day was marvelous. Facilities were good and allowed for a level of self catering if required. Beds were comfortable. Reverse cycle aircon was appreciated.
The property is beatifully located near a lake. The room is very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. The bed is very comfortable and we managed a very good night sleep.
Very friendly & helpful hosts, room had been extended since I booked so was a 1 bed apartment style and more roomy. Lots of good walks in the area for exercising the dog (& myself), lovely morning misty views over the lake, and Finn the resident pooch was very accommodating of the nervous visitor, Molly the rescue dog.
*Fantastically appointed studio with a big bed, smart tv, kitchenette with coffee making facilities and very nice bathroom. *5 minute drive to the main street (IGA, bakery, tavern etc) *Great view out to the lake. *Pinpad security lock *Quiet surroundings
