This was a very comfortable property with a small kitchen area which was extremely well stocked including fresh sourdough bread and a nice bottle of red. Suzi was very hospitable helping us out planning trips and checking all was ok even putting on a wash for us.

Mountain Retreat, Steps from Train Station surpassed our expectations! The decor was modern and classy. The apartment was extremely convenient, spotlessly clean and exceptionally comfortable. We loved being to walk down the steps and have shops, restaurants, cafes and public transport at our door step. The log fire in the living area and and heated floor tiles in the bathroom were a bonus. Enjoyed looking at all the fabulous photos and posters in the apartment and the entry. We have stayed at dozens of places over decades and Mountain Retreat, Steps from Train Station was by far the best place we have stayed in. Can't wait to return again...it will definitely be our first choice from now on! Thank you!

I had a terrible experience at the accommodation I booked. When I asked for a 1-hour late check-out, they demanded extra money, which was disappointing. The dining table was broken, making it impossible to use. There was no hot water in the sink, and the switches were unsafe. The heating, towel rails, and showers were not working properly, and the rooms were freezing. It was a very unsafe and disappointing experience overall, and now they are refusing to refund my money. I strongly advise against staying there.

The Boutique Hotel is exactly what we were after. Cosy, historic and close to town. Virginia was an excellent host and made sure all our needs were catered for. The property has been well restored and maintained, and I would recommend it to others for short stays with their partners or families.

The studio is very comfortable and well appointed. It is located in a quiet area but walking distance from the town centre. The hosts are helpful, informative and provided thoughtful extras. Although described as a studio, it is actually a one bedroom apartment.

Very Spacious Room! Have everything in need and theres a little balcony outside of the living area for the garden room, which is just amazing! the loft room is also very very nice! It is recommended if you are booking more than one room you should book the same room style as there is a door in between which can be opened and turn it into a multi-bedroom apartment. The gardens are also very nice and well maintained but because of the rain and tight scheduled I didnt have the chance to discover them in detail..
