Location to the lake was great! The size of the apartment and number of beds was as expected. The shower was excellent with a big shower head, good pressure and very hot water. The floor boards were lovely and there was good heating including a gas fireplace. There were lots of cushions and blankets plus a comfy couch, rug and books to read to make the place feel homely and warm. The kitchen was fitted out with most basics needed for a short stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
Very nice studio apartment with beautiful bathrooms and comfortable beds. Only downside was exorbitant rates for White Night. Will stay again on future visits to Ballarat.
The lodge itself exceeded my expectations, it was a beautiful chalet with a veranda, compact yet spacious and with everything you would need for a self catering holiday, very clean and modern with air conditioning making it a relief to enter in extreme hot weather. I really enjoyed my short stay. It felt safe for a single traveller and gated access with a code meant I could come and go out of hours. The lodge had dedicated parking right outside. Would definitely stay again if I could have the same lodge, I loved it!
Very quiet, exceptionally clean, and very good value for money. I stayed in a double studio apartment, it had everything I needed for my stay. It is close enough to the centre of Ballarat (7-10 minutes on a bus), public transport is a 2 minute walk and it is located the same distance to a servo and takeaways.
This is a lovely place to stay and explore the area. The apartments are well appointed and having a full kitchen and a full size fridge is such a plus given that there are many supermarkets nearby so that self catering is easy. The apartments are very clean and spacious and while we did not get the chance, the pool looked very inviting.
