It was our first stop on the "romantic road" from Wien to Salzburg and, after the day filled with castels this apparent was the perfect continuance - the apartment close to a castle ruins.

An amazing modern apartment in a very good location right in the old city. My room was on the 3rd floor and overlooked the old square. It was very quiet, apart from the occasional chatter and laughter of passers- by and the chiming clock. The owners allowed me a later checkout and to leave my bags so I could explore the abbey. I’d stay here again.
Centrally located in Melk, right off the bike train and below the abby. The apartment was totally refurbished in 2019, so feels very clean and new. It has 4 separate rooms (entry/storage, bath, living/kitchen, and bedroom). The kitchen is well-equipped and has NESPRESSO! Very livable for longer periods as well as short stays.
Balcony is nice, just over the street and cafes.
