This was my second time staying at one of the two Spitaler Apartments. Last year I stayed in the west side apartment, and recently my wife and I and our daughter stayed in the east apartment. Both apartments were clean, modern and bright, with fully equipped kitchen and dining areas, large bedrooms, and modern washrooms. The hostess emailed details about the key lockbox before our arrival and we found 3 chocolate truffles waiting for us on the dining table. Parking is directly across the street, which is great. Overall, these apartments provide excellent accommodation and we will definitely stay there again during our next visit to the area.

It was an absolutely lovely stay. The apartment is very cosy, spacious and spotless clean. It is been thought through into detail and is equipped with many details that make your stay very comfortable. The owner is very friendly. The location is great for trips in Waldviertel. It was our first holiday with our baby boy (3 months old) and we were very comfortable in the apartment with him and made many trips to the region. We came by train from Vienna and it was within a walking distance from the train station.
the family is very king who own this flat, the equipments in the kitchen/bath and in the rooms are excellent, much more than expected, the cleanliness, and the size of the flat is amazing :) if you should live here for months, you could find everything in the flat you need for your stay.
The communication with the hosts was really good before and through the whole stay. The apartment was small but cozy with a beautiful big garden. We came with two young children and they provided a travel cot and a high chair. The nature park Blockheide is around the corner.
