The building has been left largely left forgotten, with no exterior updates, but the old furniture and decor didn't bother us. It was the lowest price we could find for one night, and since we had read all the reviews beforehand, we came with no expectations.

The apartment is located centrally in the small village of Gargellen. There is parking in a lower parking lot, but you can unload luggage at the main door. The apartment was adequate for our needs. The kitchen is small but had dishes and pots. We liked the balcony and the gorgeous view. The WiFi was good.
The flat was very clean and very well prepared for us as guests. The kitchen definitley has all you need if you want to cook some meals during your stay. Enough pans, plates etc. Coffee machine, kettle, toaster... all there! The view from our balcony was absolutely fantastic. No TV needed during the stay:-) Some board games and puzzles were in the room, more to be found at the enterance on the ground floor.
The host and all people working there are very friendly and always willing to help you. Halfboard is amazing. Breakfast was good and dinner was a surprising delight every day! It's close to the ski lift, ski equipment rentals and the supermarket. Well-decorated rooms with beautiful views. I look forward to coming back to this comfortable hotel to recover and rest every day after skiing. Other guests come back year after year and I think we will also come back again!
Great for families with dogs. We loved how close the apartment was to the gondola station and yet it felt so serene in its tranquil location. We ate at the restaurant twice. It was decent each time and the other high point was the indoor pool and sauna you could use freely during opening times. Great outdoor playgrounds and many activities arranged by the friendly and capable staff. We highly recommend it!
Location is excellent, right where you want it to be (extremely close to toddler ski courses, easy walking distance to main cable car, very close to shops and restaurants. Flat is very spacious - four separate bedrooms and communal areas (kitchen, and living room), ideal for two adult couples and three children
We stayed for one week at Alpenhaus Montafon. The building is situated in a quiet and nice location. From our apartment, we had a wonderful view to the mountains! The apartment was very clean and spacious, the kitchen well equipped, We arrived late in the evening, but the manager made the check-in easier for us. Definitely worth the price!
