We had a great stay in Tristenau. Maria, the manager of the apartments, was very helpful at all times and even recommended us amazing hiking trips. The room was perfectly equipped and the beds very comfy. The kitchen was also very complete. On top of that, the sauna and the wellness area were very cozy too.
However, our favorite thing has to be the breakfast, I woke up so excited every morning to have breakfast... amazing!
We could also see sheeps through our window :) super cute.
We would definitely repeat here.

Our stay in this hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The host (Manni) made us feel so welcome from before we even arrived, with prompt replies to messages we sent. He quickly showed us the equipment we could either hire (at a very reasonable cost) such as e-mountain bikes, or borrow for free (e-scooters and paddle boards). We wanted to try lots of things so this was perfect for us! The room was immaculately clean, spacious and comfortable, with a large balcony with stunning views! There was a coffee machine and breakfast items which could be purchased at a reasonable cost, and a communal lounge area where other drinks etc could be purchased and games could be enjoyed. It was my birthday while we stayed and Manni gave me an Austrian prosecco and wished me a happy birthday which was a lovely touch. We were really sad to leave here and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Amazing location and our host Jesse was very attentive and helpful. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you could think of and was beautifully decorated. We were there for one night but could stay longer. Will be returning back to the same property in summer. Sauna facility was amazing and kids loved it!

The apartment we had was great, very well equipped kitchen with everything you need, very clean and a good layout of rooms. The floor heating was nice given the cold weather outside.
The owner is super friendly, and checkin was very easy to do. On top of everything there was place in their garage, which given the cold nights was fantastic as we could leave some stuff in the car without worrying that it will freeze.
The house is only 15 min walk away from the lake and the cable car.
