Less than 1 mile from Poipu Beach Park and Shipwreck Beach, this 70-acre resort at the southern tip of Kauai features outdoor pools and apartments with full kitchens. Front Desk Staff (Mae and Kaysha) were exceptionally helpful--always smiling/friendly, gave good advice re: places to go, dining, etc.---They were amazing! When there were technical problems in the room (TV, internet, etc.), and maintenance was called, they came in record time (usually 5 minutes or less!!)--have been places where you wouldn't get service for a day or two--this was exceptional service! Liked that you could get DVDs to watch for free--provided something to do in the evenings.

Our host is an excellent communicator and quickly replied if we had an inquiry. He also provided lots of useful information regarding our stay and island attractions. The staff was very helpful and maintained the common areas such as the pool area and BBQ grill very clean.

Located on 25 acres of private beach, Kauai Beach Resort Lihue overlooks the Pacific Ocean and Kalepa Mountain. This beachfront property offers 4 restaurants, 4 outdoor pools, a spa. Service was excellent. The front desk help were extremely patient and helpful!! The place is run just like a Sheraton Hotel.

The apartment was clean and equipped exceptionally well. Plenty of towels and kitchen appliances. Coffee, macadamia nuts, cookies were a pleasant surprise. Beach chairs and a cooler made the visit very enjoyable.
