Apartment was well stocked with everything you would need for a short or long stay. It even comes with a washing machine and detergent. Apartment faces a large garden so it's really quiet. Sound proofing is pretty solid. Plenty of street parking within 20-80m. Wonderful Hosts! Gina was very responsive with clear communications. Her husband, Josue met us at the property to go through the apartment features and entrance requirement. We would stay again when we return to Horta. :)

Very spacious apartment with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. The elevator was very useful when you have a lot of luggage. Own kitchen, balcony, big bathroom with a bathtub. São João apartments offer a colourful kitchenette equipped with all the necessary utensils to prepare meals. They include a seating-dining room offering a cable flat-screen TV. The apartments have direct access to the garden area of the patio, including a playground for children. Great place to stay, we only spent 1 night but it was everything we needed. Very comfortable apartment, with comfortable beds and it’s always a plus to have great AC in the summer heat. Also although we didn’t get to meet the staff due to our self checkin they were very friendly and informative.
