Situated just 16 km from Pico do Carvao, Alto do Forte provides accommodation in Ponta Delgada with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, as well as a lift. Staff was wonderful and accommodating and helpful. breakfast was good, may add some variety to make it better rooms were wonderful but wifi spotty beds comfy, and cleaning staff wonderful property is in a good location, pool was cold and had chemicals that hurt the eyes, but the hot tub was a great alternative driveway was steep and garage very tight, would suggest small cars only

Definitely can recommend this modern hotel which is perfectly located on the first line to the ocean and with an incredible view on Pico. The room is well equipped, everything is crystal clean. Breakfast was very delicious.

Loved the hortensias and welcome goodies that were left for us too. Very close to the ferry terminal and a nice walk along the front into the main town.

Vila Emigrante has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Capelas, 6.9 km from Pico do Carvao. The air-conditioned accommodation is 15 km from Sete Cidades Lagoon. Amazing location in a calm place and yet everything was very close. Good wifi and comfy bed. Super helpful and friendly hosts. Capelas town has many good restaurants and a nice coast.
