El Quest on Thorndon fue reconstruido en 2014 y ofrece departamentos de estilo Art Déco con conexión wifi gratis y cocina totalmente equipada. I chose it for easy access for Wellington station (it’s a few minutes round the corner) but it’s an easy walk into the CBD/quayside as well for sightseeing. Apartment was sparkling clean, really well appointed and staff very helpful. Bed was really comfortable too! Would definitely stay again and will look at other Quest hotels when travelling in future.

I am definitely recommend this place!

Just 5 minutes' walk from the waterfront, Gilmer Apartment Hotel offers accommodation with a kitchenette including a refrigerator, stove and microwave. The facilities were great — the washing machines in the room came in super handy! Everything was super clean and there was a lot of movies and shows to choose from on the tv.
