Situated 15 km from Auckland Harbour Bridge, Sunrise Garden Suites offers 4-star accommodation in Auckland and has a garden. Such a comfortable and roomy space! I could not have asked for a better experience. The daily sprucing up was impeccable; new linens as needed, freshened all spaces, refill for coffee and tea. This was a peaceful space and walkable to my venue for my conference. Plenty of fine places to grab a bite within walking as well. Great stay!

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Bethells Beach, Eco Cottages offer self-contained accommodation with free WiFi and a private patio with ocean views. Beautiful rustic cottage with an incredible view and close to the beach. Trude was so generous and really looked after us desert women unaccustomed to the cold :)

Set in Auckland, The Edgerley Suites provides 4-star accommodation with private balconies. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. It was clean and tidy. Close to where we needed to be.

Quest Highbrook is situated in Highbrook, a business area south of Auckland. The property is 9 minutes’ drive from both Sylvia Park and Botany Village Shopping Centre. Great stay all around. Room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Was a great place to spend one night in Auckland before heading for the airport the next day.

Located on 3.5 acres of grounds in Central Auckland, The Parnell Hotel & Conference Centre boasts a restaurant and a bar. Free parking is available on site subject to availability. Great value, the place is sparkling clean and rooms are very spacious. Loved it!

Marsden Suites Nautilus Orewa offers luxury accommodation at Orewa Beach with free parking. All apartments have a balcony and modern amenities, including a dishwasher and a smart TV. Beautiful complex. Location was perfect.

Featuring a private balcony with park or city views, Quest Apartments Auckland are only 10 minutes’ walk from Skycity Casino. First, the location is central in the downtown area of Auckland. My wife and I are avid walkers, and we managed to walk from the hotel to areas such as the Domain, Newmarket shopping district, Herne Bay, the waterfront wharves where the ferries and a lovely fish market and marina filled with some amazing yachts are located, Sky View for Broadway show and a tower view, etc. Not everyone may be so inclined to do so much walking, but know it's possible. Our room was larger than expected and suited our needs well. We enjoyed the balcony, having easy access to downtown, the nearby supermarket, and excellent fitness club a 5 or so minute-walk away...but mostly, we enjoyed and appreciated the kind and very receptive service from the staff. Miss Shy went way beyond herself to look after us...thank you, Miss Shy! Miss Brie (sp?) was always kind to us, as were the other personnel at the front desk, and the room service staff were always willing to bring us whatever we found ourselves in need of. I noticed in some reviews that there was a concern about some noise on Queen Street. We too noticed some noise, especially on the weekend, but we simply closed our windows, turned the AC on to a moderate temperature, and that was that. Also, there were a couple of "heads ups" in the comments regarding the hotel being on a hill...I am 68 and my wife 64 and we managed just fine. Plus, there are so many benches along Queen Street that even if we got tired, we simply had a pleasant sit and watched the passersby before continuing home. Finally, there were numerous restaurants nearby, but our favorite was Bon Ga Ne, a nearby Korean restaurant (https://bon-ga-ne.business.site/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=referral). My wife is Korean and we live in Korea, but I had to go all the way to Auckland to find one of the better Korean restaurants we have eaten at, even in Korea. The owner is also the cook, and the wait staff is very kind.
