The view from the balcony was simply great, the mountains and fjord were really impressive. We have been able to see some shy northern lights from the balcony while allowed to easily get warm. The kitchen was very well equipped. The appartement is large and has a very good quality for the price, especially when compared to hotels in Tromso city. If you can rent a car, don't hesitate to do so: Tromso city is nice but the surroundings are way better ! Ersfjordbotn is close to the city but also to great places such as Grotfjord, Tromvik or Hakoya, and in the direction of Sommaroy

Situated in Tromsø, near The Polar Museum, Tromsø City Hall and The Art Museum of Northern Norway, TA Vervet Apartment Hotel has a garden. Super comfortable, extra clean, located in city centre, next to waterfront. Staff was helpful. Worth visiting again.

Enter Amalie Apartment Hotel is located in Tromsø, 500 metres from Tromsø City Hall, 700 metres from The Polar Museum, and less than 1 km from Polaria. Location was good. Stairs are dangerous; curved, steep and without railings or anything to hold on to. We stayed on the 2nd floor but there are also units on the 3rd; no thank you. Furnishings are sparse but functional. Kitchen is basically stocked but no salt, pepper, oil or spices of any kind. Parking is available on the street with an app; no need to pay $25 a day for their “sister hotel” 2 blocks away. Walkable to the sights of Tromso. Breakfast is in the hotel next door and is adequate. This place is fine for a short stay but don’t expect luxury. The fellow at the front desk was great and helped us figure out the TV.

Perfect accommodation for the two of us. It’s even better than a hotel room which is much more expensive. Clear communication through messages. Clean room and everything you need is available. Shower, toilet, towels, kitchen, comfortable bed, nice view, information about Tromso and so on. Really recommend this place!
